VEN. Dr. YON SENG YEATH

Ven. Dr. Yon Seng Yeath is the General Secretary of Cambodian Inter-Religious Council (CIC). He is the ViceRector of Preah Sihanouk Raja Buddhist University based in Phnom Penh since 2016. Prior to his engagement in the academic world, he has actively engaged with Dhammayietra (Peace March Movement), founded by Ven. Maha Ghosananda in collaboration with the collective spirits of the inter-faiths based communities, working on peace, reconciliation and non-violence, environmental protection, landmines awareness and post-war traumatized people in Cambodia since 1992 up to the present. He is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Harvard University, conducting research on “Maha Ghosananda’s Peace March Movement.”
